Clyde gets Tatum's Togekiss Mask and what happens?

This Mask's 'what if's regarding other people don't add well to Clyde's difficulty of trusting people. Even if you were in Clyde's good books, Echelon would cross your name out with red marker and put you back in square one. He trusts nobody but himself - everyone else is a highly potential threat and better kept as far away as possible. He even impairs Clyde's will to pay back his past mistakes, for giving out help easily runs into a question of 'do these people really deserve help?'. On the (sole) good side, though, he does grant Clyde a sense of self-value that he otherwise lacks. Echelon might doubt everyone else, but doubts about himself are unheard of.
